Daybreak Ranch is proud to be featured on Prairie Public Productions, America's Grasslands: A Threatened National Treasure. Prairie Public and Ducks Unlimited have teamed to produce this documentary about one of the most threatened biomes on the planet a biome that is in our own backyard. America s Grasslands: A Threatened National Treasure explores the uniqueness of this resource, the complicated reasons we re losing grassland, and the efforts of ranchers and conservationists to protect it.

Because no other landscape on the continent is more important to waterfowl, wildlife, and cattle producers than the native prairie in the Prairie Pothole Region of the Dakotas, the project producers traveled across both South Dakota and North Dakota to explore the uniqueness of this resource, the complicated reasons we re losing grassland, and the efforts of ranchers and conservationists to protect it. The program is funded by a grant from MDU Resources Foundation and Ducks Unlimited.

Daybreak Ranch was recently featured on Roger Raglin Outdoors. Roger has traveled all over the world taking various record book animals including several world records, but he is known primarily for his skills in the field of whitetail deer. This goes without saying since he has been nicknamed, "America's Favorite Whitetail Deer Hunter." he has definatley earned the title. having taken whitetails in nearly 40 different U.S. states and 5 Canadian Provinces, Roger's accomplishments are simply staggering. His trophies include 174 bucks topping the 120 Boone & Crockett mark, of which 118 top the 130 Boone & Crockett mark.

Jim Faulstich was the National Cattlemen's Beef Association 2009 Environmental Stewardship Award region VII winner administered by the National Cattlemen s Foundation and National Cattlemen s Beef Association and sponsored by Dow AgroSciences and USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.
